Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some common questions about our services to stop foreclosure
What's The Catch?
No catch. Navigating the foreclosure process can be scary. We legitimately want to offer as much help as we possibly can…absolutely FREE. If you want to stay in your home then we want to try to help you do that. Don’t bury your head in the sand. The bank will foreclose, like they have to so many others. You owe it to yourself and family to explore the options available to you.
Are You Agents?
No. We are NOT Realtors or agents looking to list your house. If that’s something you’re interested in, we would be happy to connect you with a qualified agent for a free consultation.
Are You Lawyers?
No. We are not lawyers, do NOT practice law, and are not providing legal advice. We do, however, specialize in real estate and specifically in foreclosures, so we have experience and expertise that allows us to offer our professional opinion at NO COST to you.
Do You Want To Buy My House?
Not necessarily. We want to make it clear that we do buy houses in the St. Louis, Missouri and surrounding area, but we have ZERO interest in buying your home unless you decide it’s your best option or if it becomes your last resort. First and foremost, we want to help you with your goal. Many people want to stay in their home. If this is the case for you then we completely understand and would love the opportunity to help you achieve that. Whether or not we can help you get the result you want is impossible to know and depends on various factors. The only promises we can make is to listen to your story, treat you with respect and dignity, and help to the best of our abilities. Fair enough?
Do You Want To Refinance My House?
No. We are not lenders and do not want to refinance your house or offer a reverse mortgage. We do have a network of great lenders, so if this is something you want to explore then we would be happy to refer you to a qualified professional. Just know, that in our opinion you’re better off trying to work with your current lender first.
Why Do You Offer Free Help?
“We all have an obligation to serve others; And sometimes we must put the needs of others before our own desires.” ~ Weldon Long
We take pride in helping people. Especially those that are in a tough spot. Unfortunate things happen to everyone and we all experience struggles. Our co-founder’s father went through foreclosure. It was only after the fact that he realized there were other options to explore. We want to help, because we have the ability to, which makes it the right thing to do. It’s one of the ways we give back.
